About CHRIS

After graduating with his degree in Science Education back in 2013, Chris began working as a Physics teacher at Jacobs High School in Algonquin. He started coaching cross country and track two years later and began co-leading an FCA Huddle a couple years after that. After 12 years of teaching and 8 years of being a Huddle leader at Jacobs, Chris made the move to be an Area Director for Fellowship of Christian Athletes. As of September 2025, Chris has officially come on full-time staff as an Area Director, where he focuses on spiritually leading and growing the ministry through strategic planning, staff and volunteer development, and financial advancement. He works with many local high schools and colleges, helping engage, equip, and empower coaches, athletes and Huddle leaders.

Chris currently resides in Huntley with his wife, Danielle, and two boys, Nolan and Theo. He enjoys being a small group leader, playing with his kids, and continues to coach cross country at Jacobs High School.
